Nouns = substantiv
Nouns are words for people, places, animal and things. Nouns are also called naming words, like the name of something. Ex: a teacher, Europe, a pig, a chair. We divide the nouns into two categories Common nouns and proper nouns. Common nouns are also divided in two categories, countable and uncountable nouns. Common nouns: Are the words given to a category of people, places, animals or things - Boy, city, bird, song Proper nouns: Are the name of the person, the city, the animal or the thing. Proper nouns begins with a capital letter. - Peter, Skien, Crow, Sorry (song) Countable nouns:
