Culture
Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, cuisine, religion, music, arts and social habits. The word "culture" comes from a French term, which in again comes from the Latin "colere," which means to tend to the earth and grow, or cultivation and nurture. Culture is a word for people's 'way of life', meaning the way groups do things. Different groups of people may have different cultures. A culture is passed on to the next generation by learning. |
